​​Proms are a positive end to school and are sometimes used as an incentive, quite often children that are highly anxious won't meet the criteria and will miss out through no fault of their own. This sends a negative message to our young people, and they are missing out on a fundamental milestone. We hope that by arranging the prom it sends out a positive message, that all children can still be included, even if they suffer with anxiety or illness.

The Prom will be held on AHT's farm on 5 June 2025 from 6.30pm – 10.30pm.

​

Several Wiltshire businesses have already offered kindly offered to help with marquee, dresses, and hairdressing, but we are still looking for more help. If you are a local business owner or would like to volunteer, we’d love to hear from you. Please email Tania@ablehandstogether.org.uk

We have a super car for photos to give the children the traditional prom experience.

​

The event will have a Disco/Silent disco, circus skills, the loan of a prom dress or suit kindly donated by Project Prom, super car photo, red carpet entrance and tabletop activities.

​

Ball Gowns and Suits are of course optional, children are welcome to come in their own clothes we want everyone to feel comfortable at their Prom.

​

Children aged 14 – 17 years old are welcome to visit the venue first should they need to.
