​​4th and 18th January -  Mobile Library

​This month the mobile library visits South Newton on Saturdays 4th and 18th, located at

​Vale View Road, South Newton, Salisbury SP2 ORB. Doors open from 3:45 to 4:15pm
The 'Winter Mini Challenge' for children has been launched. Borrow books from the

​​library and sign up online to win rewards and enjoy a cosy winter of reading with your

​6th January - Parish Council Meeting.  South Newton and Wishford Village Hall from 7:00pm.

 

7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January - Bingo
Each Tuesday evening at South Newton and Wishford Village Hall, doors open from
7:00 p.m.; its great fun, we would love to see you.
 

​25th January - Breakfast Morning.
South Newton and Wishford Village Hall, any time between 9:00 until 11:00am. A
delicious cooked breakfast for only £8.00, with plenty of tea, coffee, toast and
marmalade. All proceeds to the Village Hall.
 

30th January - Village Hall Committee Meeting. South Newton Village Hall, 7:00pm.

Clothing and Textile Bank

In addition to the annual collection every November, we now have our own collection bank, situated in the car park. Clothing, curtains, shoes, belts and handbags and soft toys all welcome. Sorry, but no pillows or duvets can be accepted.

This is a very useful source of income for us towards the rebuild project.
