Village Hall available for private hire - rates from 1st April 2022*

A minimum sum of £25 deposit is to be paid on acceptance of the booking. For all day and weekend bookings a £50 deposit is to be paid on acceptance.

Current Rates:

• All day (8am to midnight) events £125 to £150 subject to event and at the discretion of the Management Committee. 

• All weekend events £250 to £300 subject to event and at the discretion of the Management Committee.

• £15.00 per hour for businesses and outside groups.  

• Children's parties £12.50 per hour

 

Reduced hourly hire rates for residents of the parishes of South Newton, Stoford and Wishford, and local groups as follows:

• £12.50 per hour for businesses and outside groups.              

• £10.00 per hour children's parties.

 

All bookings must be made by over 21s.

 

Regular Hall users are:

 

• Cricket,

• Football (men and boys),

• Table Tennis,

• Bingo,

• WI meetings,

• Church Suppers,

• Parish Council Meetings,

• Quiz evenings,

• Oak Apple Club,

• Valley Art,

• Hall committee

• Breakfast mornings.

*Our booking rates have been in place for many years. Unfortunately, due to the huge rise in energy costs, our electricity bills have increased so much that in some cases, we are funding events. Unfortunately, we cannot continue to do this and we hope that everyone will understand. We have looked at the charges from most of the local Village Halls and we are still good value with the facilities that we have to offer.
