Regular BINGO NIGHTS  are held every Tuesday evening. If you would like to come along to this enjoyable event, please contact Heather Bryans 742207.

 

ZUMBA FITNESS sessions are held every Tuesday morning from 10.00 am - 11.00 am. Suitable for everyone for fun and fitness. Contact Holly to book a place 07540101640.

VALLEY ART GROUP  The group had great fun in November, firstly working with pastel chalks during one session and then at the next meeting having a go at drawing with charcoal, both mediums having been popular with artists down through the ages. At the first meeting in December we are going to be printmaking once again at the group’s request. If you practise an art or craft you are welcome to join us. There is only a minimal charge payable on the day to cover the cost of the hall,  so you are welcome to drop in to any of the sessions. All levels of experience welcome. TEXTILE COLLECTION.  We are collecting good quality  second hand clothing. Adults and children, paired shoes and boots, hats, belts, handbags, ties, soft toys, blankets, purses and wallets, towards our Bag Collection to raise money for our hall. Your support is needed. Take in times: Saturday, 25th November. 8.00 am - 11.00 am and Sunday, 26th November 10.00 am - 12.00 midday. Or if you are attending the hall before those dates and would like to bring a carrier bag donations can be stored until then. Please do not leave outside the hall. WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. Congratulations to SWANS WI, formerly known as South Newton, Wishford and Stapleford WI, who will be celebrating their 90th Anniversary on November 24th.  They are holding a special Celebratory Luncheon in South Newton and Wishford village hall for members and invited guests. Members now come from several surrounding villages, Wilton and Salisbury, and members enjoy many other activities in addition to their usual monthly meetings.  More information from Pam 790022 or Loraine 743577.

 

HALL BOOKINGS    The Village Hall Committee are looking for a person living in South Newton, Wishford or Stoford, to deal with bookings for the village hall.  A key safe is provided to facilitate collection of the key.
