ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

OF THE SOUTH NEWTON AND STOFORD PARISH COUNCIL

Held in the Village Hall on Wednesday 11th May, 2016 at 7.00 pm  

 

Present:            Cllr D Blake, Cllr H Bryans, Cllr M Pont, Cllr. N. Blake, Cllr. Sherlock,                            

                         Cllr R Henstridge, Cllr J Green, C. Webb (Clerk)

                         Cllr Peter Edge (Wiltshire Councillor for Wylye), Cllr H. Swanton,

Apologies:        Cllr K. Norman

                       

In Attendance: P.S.O. N. Clerk

 

1.     P.S.O. N. Clerk confirmed that no new issues had been reported relating to the recent spate of

Vandalism.  Cllr. N. Blake expressed concerns over the ongoing problems relating to parking

on the South Newton Estate.

4.     Questions from parishioners:-  No parishioners were present therefore no questions were forwarded to the Council.

5.     Village Hall – Cllr. H. Bryans reported that the St. George’s Night Bingo raised £333.00.  

Cllr. D. Blake expressed thanks for a very popular night.  The April Coffee Morning and the Film night was very poorly attended. The film nights will now start again in September.  Plans for market stalls are in hand.  Thanks were passed to Great Wishford Parish Council for nominating the S106 funds available to the New Hall Extension and Changing Room Fund.

 

Cllr D. Blake confirmed no other business to discuss and the meeting was closed at 7.35 p.m.
